We Like To Think We're Smooth ♥

For a while now, I have been lusting after the 'You Can't Sit With Us' tank top/shirt from Brandy Melville, however, as I am in the UK, it isn't as easily accessible as I would like it to be.
Can I please to take this moment to note that I am not turning crazy nasty! It is, of course, the famous Mean Girls quote :)
Such an amazing film!!
Due to my love for the film, and the Brandy Melville shirt, I couldn't hand it anymore - I turned to Ebay. On Ebay, I found shirts which had the caption I wanted, for a wonderful price of £6! Automatically, I informed my beautiful friend, Eilis, and ordered us both a shirt each! Last Thursday, once I had returned home from my science exam (D:) the beauties had arrived!
Prepare yourselves for pictures!

We are both so in love with the shirts, it's ridiculous! Our excitement of wearing the shirts was, possibly, too much for my family to handle, so we trekked (slight exaggeration there!) to my trusty next-door-but-one-neighbour to show off our latest buys/obsessions :)
Both Eilis and myself plan of buying the two other versions of the shirt (they come in black, burgundy and white).
Also last Thursday, myself, Ellie, and two of our other friends took a study break to visit our local Cineworld to watch The Great Gatsby.
Oh My!
I'm not too sure if you will understand this unless you have watched the film yourself, but it is beautiful, emotional, heart-aching, perfect, amazing (etc!) all in one film! We were torn between The Great Gatsby, and The Hangover Part 3, but I am so, so happy that we opted for The Great Gatsby. I will, however, be watching The Hangover... very soon :) Hello, Bradley Cooper!
I completely, and utterly recommend the film. I will be buying it on DVD as soon as it comes out, and I will also be purchasing the brilliant soundtrack :)

Thrifty! ♥

Since I started blogging almost a year ago, (D: What?!) I have come to realise that there are simple ways of allowing myself the luxuries, but on a frugal budget.
You may or may not know, but Poundland can offer a great selection of branded items for their title name, price. It's always best to go in an have a look; sometimes it's full of all sorts of wonders, yet sometimes you will come out empty handed, with that ache for thriftiness still striving!
On a recent shopping trip to my local town centre, I popped in to Poundland and Poundworld (my sister, Ellie and another friend of ours may have dedicated the whole trip to these two shops...) and left feeling very satisfied!

£6.49

£11.25

Varied from £2 - £4

Around £5 on Amazon.

On a more recent trip, my sister bought me the Stila Tinted Moisturiser (£25) and a Stila face powder (£18) for £1 each. I am so pleased with all of my buys, and definitely plan on keeping my eye out for some thrifty bargains!
Have you bought anything from any poundland stores? Where do you find your bargains?
On another note, I got an Instagram account the other day! So please feel free to take a look at my pictures: @domowen97 :)

The End Of An Era ♥

WARNING: THIS IS AN EXTREMELY PICTURE HEAVY POST!
Last Thursday, Ellie and myself finished year 11! We are currently on our study leave, which we have a love-hate relationship with! Hehe :)
Leaving school was (and still is) so exciting, and although everyone got upset, (I didn't cry!) the day itself, was beautiful. We had a breakfast all together, however I was too busy taking pictures and getting people to sign my shirt to eat! There was also a Mass for the entire year, and then an extremely hilarious, and emotional, leavers assembly.
We go back to the school for our exams, but then we leave. It felt so strange walking home with Ellie on Friday after our RE exam; the rest of the school hadn't even got to their morning break and we were almost home.
To top the leaving event off, a lovely friend of mine and Ellie's had a party on Friday night. It was so much fun, and lovely to just have a good night with everyone :)
High school has been such a fun experience for myself and Ellie; we have made so many unforgettable memories, and ridiculously amazing friends. Here are some (lots!) of pictures from our journey through out secondary school:

Change is either a good or a bad thing, sometimes both. Currently, I am indecisive of whether I'm fond of the change of leaving a school which I have attended for the past 5 years, one which my 3 older brothers and sisters attended, and one which my younger brother still goes to. However, right now, in this moment, even though I already miss too many people like crazy - knowing that I won't be seeing them every school day is enough to make me miss them - I'm pretty excited to see what the next few months have to hold for me :)
